Medical screening first
Visits begin with health history, medication review, allergies, prior procedures, and goals. For medical spa services, that screening helps separate cosmetic preference from safety, timing, and candidacy questions.

“Empowering Health and Beauty, One Patient at a Time.”
Dr. Katayoun Motlagh is a physician serving patients in Lancaster, Palmdale, and the wider Antelope Valley. Her clinic combines family medicine, selected urgent visit needs, women's health discussions, weight-management planning, and consultation-first aesthetic care in one local setting.
Dr. Motlagh founded Kat Motlagh's Health Clinics in Lancaster in 2013 and has cared for patients across the Antelope Valley in the years since. As a board-certified family physician, she brings a medical foundation to aesthetic care: every treatment starts with an evaluation, an honest discussion of goals and risks, and a plan built around the individual patient rather than a one-size-fits-all menu.
Her medical training includes an Undergraduate Degree in Biochemistry from UCLA. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the American University of the Caribbean and completed her Residency in Family Medicine at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital in Florida. She maintains medical licenses in both California and Florida and is fluent in English and Farsi.
KMHCS is structured around evaluation before treatment. For medical visits, that may include history review, symptoms, medications, risk factors, labs, referrals, or follow-up planning. For aesthetic visits, that means reviewing anatomy, treatment goals, timing, expected recovery, and whether a service is appropriate before moving forward.
Beyond primary care, KMHCS offers aesthetic medicine consultations and services such as injectables, fillers, laser services, body contouring, skin treatments, and selected cosmetic procedure consultations when appropriate. Dr. Motlagh is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. Treatments are performed by Dr. Motlagh or by licensed clinical staff working under her supervision.
KMHCS is located at 767 W Lancaster Blvd, Lancaster, CA 93534, serving patients from Lancaster, Palmdale, Quartz Hill, Rosamond, Acton, and the Antelope Valley. Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 12:30pm, 1:30pm - 5:30pm; walk-ins are accepted 8:30am - 9:30am. Call 661-947-6400 or view directions and hours.
License and board-certification information should be verified through primary sources.
A consultation-first process helps patients understand options before choosing a next step.
Visits begin with health history, medication review, allergies, prior procedures, and goals. For medical spa services, that screening helps separate cosmetic preference from safety, timing, and candidacy questions.
Patients can ask about options, alternatives, expected recovery, possible side effects, and whether a different service or referral is more appropriate. Treatment recommendations depend on the individual visit.
Care plans include next steps when follow-up, lab review, healing checks, maintenance visits, or outside pharmacy coordination may be needed. Results and recovery vary by patient.
